Train Safe firearm blocks were invented by John Carlin of Lanesboro, Minnesota., a career law enforcement officer and firearms training instructor.
John’s background as a peace officer prompted him to develop this device for the safety of law enforcement personnel using their duty weapons in firearms training. Officers can train safely with the very weapons they carry on duty.
Train Safe is manufactured in the U.S.A.
with 100% American parts and labor.
With Train Safe employed, trainees can function the slide, dry fire, make magazine changes and operate the safety. Visually, the instructor and every officer in the room can see that the firearm is disabled and that a live round cannot be fired.
Other applications for Train Safe include retail stores selling firearms. Train Safe allows all firearms in display to be operated, but a live round cannot be put in the chamber or the weapon fired.
For home storage, Train Safe can be inserted into the firearm, disabling it until it is disassembled and the block removed, making the weapon essentially child proof.
Firearms shipped from the factory can have Train Safe installed to make the firearm safe until the purchaser removes it.
